What Child is this Who laid to rest On Mary’s lap is sleeping?

Whom Angels greet with anthems sweet, While shepherds watch are keeping?

We know why the angels are singing and the shepherds are watching. After all,

This, this is Christ the King,

Whom shepherds guard and Angels sing

He is The Good Shepherd

I am the Good Shepherd.

The Good Shepherd lays down his life for the sheep

He is the Prince of Peace
